Waiting for this thing is like beating a dead horse into pulp. I'm THIS close to pulling the trigger on a different notebook now. I think Toshiba really dropped the ball on this one.

I would get the F55-Q502 but the thing doesn't even have Bluetooth in this day and age. I would get the X305-Q701, but that thing has a conspicuous "STEAL ME" sign on it with the big logo against the red backdrop.

I'm making one last appeal on the boards here before I pull the trigger. Has anyone heard any news whatsoever on this elusive notebook which nears vaporware status?

Some best buys have the F55 Q503. Best thing to do is drive down to your local bb and ask them if they can ring up other bbs and check if they have it.

Are you sure? I've seen several people on the board make such claims but no one's been able to back them up with the actual hardware itself or the SKU#.

The guy at the Best Buy that I went to didn't even bother to check and just told me that they could only sell me the stuff that was on display. I didn't want to make a big deal about it since I was sure they didn't have it.

That's a shame... I am waiting for the Q503 so that I can get it for university... but so far no reviews, and it's not sold anywhere :(

I pulled the trigger on an HP DV5t. Toshiba just lost a customer.
