    Re-seat the LCD cable?

Does it happen if you attach an external monitor?

You have to take the notebook apart.

It might be as simple as just re-seating the cable or you might need a new screen (from ebay around $50).

Thanks very much for your help.
I joined a short while ago and for the past 2-3 weeks I've been all over the site looking for the answer to the question - what do I buy next ?
So, I'm looking for a Netbook before I open the case of the qosmio to try to fix it.

Moral Hazard, is there a diagram or write up on how to re-seat the LCD cable?
Also, how much trouble is it ( for the common man)to replace the screen?
    Thanks.
Bought a Samsung 12". Now I'm ready to fix/ brake the Toshiba.....
