How are they holding up for you?

Mine's been dreadful; two failed fans, two failed external power supplies, one dead motherboard, now one apparently dead video card, and the HD-DVD drive stopped reading disks as well. Everything but the video card was replaced under warranty but now the video card seems toast and I'm out of warranty.

Oh, the plastic casing of the screen near the hinges has begun to come loose.

I'm hoping others have had better luck, but I'd be curious to know. Anyone else seeing the big screen get creaky around the hinges? Anything I can do about that? Superglue?! Also, any guidance on whether it's possible to get a new video card for this laptop and replace just it, would be helpful!

    Sorry to hear that :(

It seems that there are not many people owning a Qosmio... even at Toshiba Direct website Qosmio is not listed in the main page!

I own a F45 and I'm delighted with it. Hope you solve your problems with your machine.

I have the G35-AV660. Mine is doing HORRIBLE. I have had mine for just over a year and a half it has been back to the repair center five times. The motherboard has failed 3 times, the HDD has failed four times, the video cards once, the CPU once. I am actually getting it back from New Dimensions (an authorized Toshiba repair center) today, where it has been there for TWO MONTHS while we waited for Toshiba to ship out the motherboard (it was on backorder this entire time).

After many talks with Toshiba, they are refusing to replace the laptop.

My screen has gotten a little creaky, but not horribly so.

Bottom line: I am done with Toshiba.
