Check out the benchmarks in my sig. I ran 82 background processes, had the computer idle for 20 minutes and overclocked my GPU to 701, 1002, and 1803. Also, I have the newest Nvidia Drivers from Toshiba's website.

you will void your warranty if you oc, but they don't have to know that.

So why would Toshiba put this on their web site under Qosmio x305 Product Tour>features>processing

"Intel Processing Blistering-fast, the 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor technology on the Qosmio X300 gaming laptop can actually be OVER-CLOCKED to get more frames per second plus more non-stop acton than you bargained for. For sheer breath-taking speed, other CPUs can't even come close."

Why are they advocating overclocking CPU over GPU? beats the hell out of me. Was it a typo? Did they mean GPU? Can this be done? Someone please let me know cause I want to do this.

And sorry I didn't know how to copy and paste from the site so I type it in word for word.

Well if you check, they're reffering to the x9100 processor, which is factory designed to be overclockable... So, when you buy a laptop with an Xtreme Processor you know that you'll be able to overclock without voiding the warranty... If toshiba had blocked the overclock option, that would be a Rip-Off, paying Premiun Price for Premiun processor without all the benefits...

yes, you can play games at my super OC, but dont make it a habit. i recommend 650/950/1750 for all around overclocking. but i only overclock super high for benchmarks or once in a while for games. i never run it overclocked at startup, i just do it manually.
