woah.. this one looks one nice laptop for $2000..
    9800m gts sli.. p8400, 4gb ddr3 ram.. 320gb 7200rpm hdd..
but why the heck is it only using 1440x900 screen on 17 inch?
uhh.. if they replace the screen to 1920x1200 and drop $300, it will be nice competition for gateway p-7805u. i mean it has one more 9800m gts so $500
more for it would make sense, right?

The X305-Q706 has a WSXGA+(1680x1050) screen resolution. You can possibly get the Q706 for $1750 if you call a sales rep at Toshibadirect and ask for a quote. At least that happened to me in December. I like the screen, went and looked at a 705 model at Bestbuy and the 1440x900 screen looked very dim so I was worried until the 706 came. The WSXGA+ is very bright and has decent viewing angles.
