anyone here own or know if the qosmio g20/g30 indeed has a light leakage issue?

oh btw; where is the qosmio review that is promised?

People "say" a lot of computers have light leakage. I have heard people say that the Dell E1505 has leakage, but I don't see any. If there is not a review here, look at cnet

Can someone post a picture of your qosmio's screen (if its not too much trouble)? do you experience any problem with your qosmio? screen sparkle, heat issues, etc.

thanks in advance, double thanks if you post piceture :D

I'll see if I can post a pic later.

So far my Qosmio has been flawless. Actually I've been carrying it around as a work laptop of sorts (which it's really not built for) and it's done well although I don't think it has the overall durability to tolerate that kind of abuse over the long haul.

Screen, performance, everything is great. I have gotten used to the keyboard. The on-board speakers were comparable to the built-in speakers on a friend's 32" TV - it was impressive. They can be loud enough to full a room. No reliability issues so far, and the screen is gorgeous.

Under load it gets warm at the bottom but not unreasonably so IMO.

Circuit City has these on display.

One piece of negative feedback, I don't think the Qosmio's screen hinge would hold up over the very long haul. Mine's already creaking.

I love the Qosmio series for their screens - there has been no light leakage at all with our family's Qosmio, and the hinges hold up fine (you may want to watch out for older models, however).

sorry to bring this old thread again, but i just notice that you said about cnet, lol. IMO CNet is one of the worst reviewer on the planet, i mean, they are all noobs, they only read the spec and write a review about it, i doubt they even take heat n noise, screen, sound, etc. into consideration.

the reason i'm asking in the first place is that i read a while back that a reviewer here is given a canada's version of qosmio to test (which is similar to AUS version) on the middle of june, sooo... i'am just wondering when would it be ready.
