    Announced March 1, 2011.

Toshiba and SK Gaming are entering a 3 year "Cooperation/Partner" (whatever that means).

    Here's a quote from a Toshiba Rep:

Sounds like a step in the right direction to help Qosmios enter the stage as a major contender to ASUS/Alienware/Sager.

"profound gaming knowledge to further increase the quality of our products."

They should focus on using MXM slots and improve the cooling so that they can use the best GPUs available. That's what makes ASUS/Alienware/Sager better than toshiba for gaming (IMO).

Ya. I agree. They should develop a cooling system similar to the G73 (looks really good) and use MXM cards.
But I think the exposure in the "professional" gaming leagues" (sounds hilarious just thinking about it), could give them a new potential client base. The lower end Qosmios are very cheap and could be appealing to those on a budget.

??? Does this mean top of the line GPU for the Qosimo line at some point (GTX 470, 480, 485, EVEN THE 580)-I can only dream.

Alex, are yoiu referring to the G73 made by ASUS? I thought that model had nothing but problems??

I dream of top of the line GPU, CPU and the ability to choose-all at a reasonable price. :D

Ya! Don;t get me wrong, the G73JH (with ATI 5870) had major heating issues. But the way the cooling system is designed for the G73 is pretty nice. I like how air is sucked in the front and blow out the back; as opposed to air sucked from the bottom. My Qosmio ran very cool, but I think if the Qosmio had a cooling design like the G73, it would run even cooler.
