Is there a way for me to run dual external VGA monitors with the R835-P56X?

At home I have a large widescreen monitor, but when I go to work there are 2 17" monitors with VGA inputs that I would like to plug into. I wouldn't even mind plugging into them and an external mouse and keyboard and close my laptop so that I am only using the 2 external monitors.

    Thanks

How about having one monitor plugged in to the VGA port and the other connected to the HDMI port via a HDMI to VGA cable (I've never used one but they do exist)?

I have not tried that yet. I wasn't sure if that was a possibility. I guess I can google around for VGA-HDMI adapters. Any suggestions on where to look? They seem a bit scarce. And are you sure that it will work if I buy it?

At this price it's worth trying. I think the cable just takes some of the pins of HDMI and uses them for the VGA signal. There is the comment:
I don't know if the R835 meets that requirement but given that uses a 2011 graphics chip, I would expect it to meet all commonly used standards.

I have ordered the VGA to HDMI cable and will give that a shot. If that doesn't work - which I assume would be due to the integrated graphics card - what's the next alternative? Is a docking station or a port replicator a good idea or is there something else that would be preferable? I've been trying to find good information on this and have determined that it is hard to come by.
