The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'm looking at the following series:

    T235
    L630
    L640
    L650
    Portege 700 (the one at Best Buy)

    Can anyone recommend or advise against any of these series? I'm still not sure what size is best for me (nor am I sure how to really figure that out). I'm using a 15 inch HP now but would like something a little more portable.
