I am attempting to install WinXP onto my X205-Sli1 and I get the expected message that it doesn't detect the two SATA hard drives. What driver are you guys using to get this things detected.

I know I have to slip stream the driver to my WinXP cd ....There is no driver on the Toshiba website.

It shouldn't be this hard to downgrade to WinXP!!! Uggh.

Any help would be appreciated...

Look on this thread and see if any of the info I put there helps you create a slip streamed XP cd.

search and you will find all of the driver, SATA, chipset, KB888111 hotfix for the HD audio bus, LAN, Wifi etc. The rest of the OEM drivers work fine (card reading, finger print, etc)

One of us can always email them to you if you can't find them. I didn't save links to all of the drivers, but I have them tucked away in a safe place.

Hi, it would really help me if one of you could email me the correct, working SATA drivers to be slipstreamed into my 32Bit XP cd. If they are different, and if you have them, I would also appreciate 64Bit drivers.

    Please send them to

[email protected] (it's an email I made just for this, I'd never put my personal email on a forum.... too much spam...)

Can somebody please send the SATA drivers to me: [email protected]

Also, are the X205 series laptops able to run a RAID O? Do all the models use the same motherboard or are their differences? The only information I've found so far is that they all use the Intel 965 chipset.
