Recently had the motherboard replaced (fourth motherboard in three years) and now it works fine, but it takes an age to boot.

Anyone else have this issue or know what could cause it, the "hanging" point is between BIOS and hard drive access, basically turn it on, it does the bios checks (reports video ram, hard drive ram) and then sits for a while, eventually it figures out that the hard drive is there and boots off it (and that is all fine and expected speed).

Your posting said you had 4 motherboards in your Toshiba 1955-S805 laptop some time ago. We have a customer who needs this board-But we cannot find any for under $500. Who were your vendors, if we may ask, and what do you recall paying for these boards?

Please reply to our email at '[email protected]'. We thank you in advance.

    Sincerely,
