    Hi guys.
I have 4 year old Toshiba Satelite A105 and last 20 days ago it started to show at start WEIRED crazy lines(without any images) , after several restarting it was apearing in regular shape. But yesterday it didn't show any image , totaly black. Tryed to connect PC display but no image either.
HDD works and laptop still have power function.
Someone told me to reseat the video cable from the mobo to the lcd screen, as sometimes they come loose from repeated opening/closing the cover.
Another one the laptops video may be going bad or overheating.
I don't know how to get to the VGA cable or chip itself.
    What it can be?
    Any help?
    Thanks.

If the internal display and the external VGA do not have any signal when the power is turned on, your video card is very likely to be dead. Probably time to invest in a new laptop.
