I'm having a problem with this laptop; when I take the power cord out the screen starts flickering very fast and only stops when I put the power cord back in. I've only had the laptop for about 3 months, and this has only started to happen recently. If anyone can help me in the situation I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks
    ~Milan

Are you sitting in a room with flourescent lighting? also, check your power settings for the unit when it's on battery. If the power rating is set too low, it will appear to flicker. I figure you may have inadvertently turned the video setting too low for batter.

    Just a thought.

    wow.. thats a new one.

I know this may sounds stupid but try updating the BIOS. There are about 200 known issues fixed in the A100 bios updates.
