    Toshiba Satellite A130 Sound Card Questions

    Hey guys...new here. Searched the forum and didn't find anything, so I do apologize if this has already been posted and I missed it.

    Vista sucks. So I installed Ubuntu Linux on my sisters A130. Sound doesn't work. If anyone here has an A130, could you please respond with the brand/model number of the sound card installed in the A130.

    or better yet, if anyone else happens to have had this same issue and "easily" resolved it, let me know how you did it.

    Intel's sound is a bit of a pain in linux. Of the three distros I play with only Grafpup 2.0 is able to handle the sound on my A135. Puppy and Vector inux both find and configure the card but as of yet no sound from those two, Here'sa thread on VL's forum on the subject...
