I bought this laptop from Bestbuy with Vista on it. Removed Vista and put XP on it. I had all nightmares trying to find drivers, but i managed to get it up and going with all but two drivers. Everything was working fine until the laptop locked up on me. When I rebooted it asked for a bios password though i never set one. Contacted Bestbuy, they directed me to Toshiba, Toshiba says only an authorized Toshiba technician can fix this which they'll pay for since its still under warranty. My question is how and why did this happen and is there a quick fix before I ship it off. I've heard of another case where this happened is the down grade to XP that causes this.
