i just got a Toshiba Satellite A135-S4666 on ebay for $150.
i wanted to know if the cpu can be upgraded.
    specs: IntelĀ® PentiumĀ® dual-core processor T2080 1.73GHz, 1MB L2, 533MHz FSB
i would really like to put a cpu in it that has more L2 and fsb. everything i found on the net says no, but i have not read anything that is recent.
if there are any other mods that you know of for this laptop let me know.
    thanks for any info
ps it already has 2gigs of ram .

You can use any Socket M CPU - Core Duo or Core 2 Duo, up to T7600 if you want to spend over $200...

If you don't mind a bit more noise, consider a 7200 RPM hard drive first. Unless you run compute-intensive software, the hard drive would be more noticeable.
