The Toshiba Satellite A135-S4666 is offered at Office Depot this week for $399 after rebate. I went ahead and speculatively picked one up. En route, I have a Vostro 1500 w/ Core2 5470, 1gb, XPHome, 120gb hdd, nVidia 8400M GS for $599.

I plan to install XP on the Tosh, if possible ;)

Which of these two would you keep? My environment is primarily basic business apps (word, excel, web) and I will do little or no media editing.

For another $50-$70, I could easily upgrade to 2gb and try to stick w/ vista...

    Comments, please!
