the notebook comes with recovery cds, if not there is an internet particion that u can access by holding the 0 key not letter o but number 0 while it boots up then u can recover the notebook to factory settings, warning this will delete everything on the computer.

if u do not have ether choices u will need to get the cds from toshiba they will ship it for a small price.

Also I have used Hard Drive Unlock Wizard to repair/unlock a hard drives. All information is lost, but most of the time the drive is saved. Read more about it at http://www.hddunlock.com/.
