    Toshiba Satellite A210 heating problems

    I don't understand why it runs so hot (88°c) at idle and the fan is spinning fine.

    its get so hot it hurts to touch certain parts

    Your laptop fans/vents are probably clogged with dust.

    Try using compressed air to blow the dust out (use short bursts), or you can try a shop-vac and suck the dust out.
