First time poster here, I recently purchased A215-7428 from Office Depot and upgraded my ram to 4gb from Crucial, (the previous ram I bought from Gskill did not work in the rear slot)

Anyway I upgraded to Vista x64 to take advantage of my 4gb of ram. Everything installed fine with the exception of the ATI X1200 M drivers provided by Toshiba. I tried the Catalyst 7.12 for x64 from ATI, and they wouldn't install.

Is there a fix or hack for this as Toshiba appears to have ATI drivers for x86 only, and ATI doesn't support mobile drivers. I've googled this to no end am confused with all the fixes for this.

The good news is I installed Vista 32 bit Home Premium version (retail disk I own), and was able to do a fresh install without all the crapware.

I am running x64 on my desktop with 6gb of ram and just love it, absolutely screams. I want it on this notebook :)

Is no one running Vista x64 on a Toshiba ATI vid card? Or x64 on any other Toshiba laptop?

    Look at ati.amd.com.

A215 has corrupted sleep mode in Vista x64 :(
