    Toshiba Satellite A25-S307 Problem

    Recently, the last day or so, my screen will go dark/black unless I am actively keying in, or tapping touch pad---in other words---it happens when I am just viewing something. To make my screen content visible I then have to tap the touch pad, and the same content and page are there. However, if I let the screen stay dark for too long, the machine goes off completely---I have to press the silver start button which is located on the bottom of the frame in the upper left going toward the center--diagonally across from the upper frames' silver Toshiba lettering in the center of the top half of clamshell. This has only occurred recently. I am fortunate, in that I've had generally good to better performance with this machine, unlike some of the people posting the various problems and drawbacks of this machine, but the comments are correct regarding the weight of it. It is heavy,
    Any advice re the black screen/powering off problem I'm presently experiencing would be appreciated. :)
