This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I have Toshiba Satellite A305 and have noticed it has been slowing down lately. Also, tonight I tried to shut down and all it did was say "Shutting Down," but it didn't close. I had to alt/del/ctrl.

    Does anyone know what might be going on? I use this computer about once a week and so it is not being used too much.

    Can anyone help?
