My Toshiba Satellte A50, PSA50L-04R002, which is like 6 yrs old is having problem with the F10 and F11 keys. It lights up by itself, either one, and when this happens, cannot type anything with the keyboard. Only the cursor moves with touchpad or the mouse. I know F10 is for 'arrow keys' and F11 is for 'numerics'. Tried to disable by pressing Fn+F10 or Fn+F11, but not working. Even reformatted and reinstall WinXp thinking that is was a bug but still did not work. Thanks.

I wish someone would please reply with a solution to this problem because I have exactly the same problem. My computer is five years old. Right now it is useless to me because I cannot unlock the number keys on the key board with the F11 key.
