This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi guyz,

    got a question for an old laptop Toshiba Satellite A505 - S696, can the optical drive slot be replaced with any other 2.5" HDD, as I was planning to put a SSD in the primary HDD case and if the optical drive can be switched with any HDD then put the old HDD in it. Tnx
