I'm working on a Toshiba Satellite A65. Sometimes when you turn it on the Toshiba screen comes on then it shuts down prior to me being able to get to the bios or into Safe Mode. At all other times when you start it up the screen does nothing...Just stays black...The power light always comes on and it has the issue regardless of if I'm using battery or AC power. The hard drive has been tested and its ok. I thought it may be a memory issue but this type has a 256 mb non-removable chip inside. Has anyone seen this problem before.

    hi!
I have EXACTLY the same problem with the M50... basically it just won't load anything onto the screen and its just black with the fan running. The problem is... it only does it sometimes and not every time... so i really have no idea how to fix it. I've taken it to the toshiba repair center thing and when i turned it on.. it actually turned on properly :(

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help if you know whats going on!!
