I bought this laptop 3 weeks ago and the past two days i have charged it fully then unplugged it, put it to sleep and left it overnight and when i came back to it in the morning the laptop was completely drained. I just spoke to some bloke from argos who told me thats normal but i didnt think it was so wanted to check with some guys who know what they are talking about. Should i take it back or is it meant to be like this?

    Cheers.

I've heard of "sleep" slowly draining the battery; but a complete drain overnight is very abnormal; my Qosmio in sleep overnight will drain about 2-3%

I would seriously consider taking it back. However, I wonder if anyone else can chime in here.

Possibly also check out and post in the hardware subforums.
