    Here's the info on it

Yes, it came out last week, one of the first new Sonoma notebooks. Just because it's centrino doesn't mean battery life will be long. There are several other factors, like battery size, which is often skimped on with lower-priced models.

I installed Sandra 2004 on a Toshiaba M45-S331 at a local retailer and its performance was subpar. Memory bandwidth was 2045 and CPU arithmetic was south of what Centrino 1.6G and not to mention that the HD is 4200rpm. Overall, I like the ergonmic but was disapointed with the performance given the fact it has 533 FSB Sonoma chipset. BTW, Toshiba didn't even use DDR2 in it, instaed they put in DDR 2700. Now that someone reported a 2 1/2 hour battery life? What a shame!

Intial thoughts don't sound good, however, I'm curious if it supports pci-express so for potential graphics card upgrades.

2 hr battery? Really? Why even bother spending the cash on centrino chip
