My friend has a Toshiba M55-S1001 that will only will read 1 gb of ram not 2 even through it says you can have 2gb of ram. It reads both sticks no matter what slot it is in by itself but, when both are in it only sees the bottom slot with is 0 or 1 not sure.

    Both sticks are Kingston PC2-5300

    Stick 1 = KVR667D2S5/1G

    Stick 2 = KVR667D2S0/1G

I am not sure if the 5 and 0 at the end of the serial means anything. Any ideas?
