I have a Toshiba Satellite P105-9312 laptop. I bought it used from a friend of my grandson. It came with 2 1gb memory sticks installed. I went to Micro Center and bought a set of sticks of the correct speed and type to upgrade to the full 4gb that this computer takes. 2 sticks of 2 gb each. When I installed them both my computer would not boot up. If I installed each stick separately they all worked. I was only able to get up to 3gb by putting 1 old 1gb stick in and 1 2gb stick in. The computer read all 3gb but it had to be put in with the 1gb stick closest to the motherboard (P1) and the 2gb stick closest to the case (P2). If I reversed the sticks the computer would not boot up. Any thoughts on this?
