I am looking to get the Toshiba Satellite P200-1K9. It has exactly the specifications I am looking for with a 2.4 GHz ( Dual-Core ) processor, RAM - 3 GB, HDD 250GB and ATI Graphics Vendor.

What are the views on this laptop? Crucially, does it have any problems at all? Is it recommended?

    Thanks

Spec's look pretty decent but how much are you paying for it? and what kind of things are you looking to do with it?
Personally I like Toshiba's never had a problem with their laptops so far.
Had the A100 and A200, for 9 months each and no problems.
Now I have a A300, I'm expecting no problems hopefully too.
The A-series is the P's little sibling. 15.4" instead of 17"

I am going to be paying around £679 for it. Its basically going to be a desktop replacement. Mainly going to be utilized for entertainment such as light gaming (PES etc), watching movies (hence high HDD), viewing photos etc. Also, will be using it for work such as word, excel, power point etc hence it needs to be very reliable. Portability and size is not an issue as it is going to be stagnant.

The A series seems much more popular than the P series. I don't know whether this is something i should be concerned about?
