I have a Satellite P25 and has bene working great, never really had too many issues, had to replace the hard drive, and also had to replace the AC Adapter but both were covered under warranty. My warranty just expired on Oct 16/07 and I am not wanting to go dump a couple hundred $$$ before knowing if anyone has had the same issues.

I was going to go load some pictures on my computer, i put my camera on the dock and my laptop shut off immediately and it will not restart at all. I took the AC adapter in and had it tested, tested that it was fine. I tried taking the battery out and turning it on, i have jiggled the power wire around, last night when doing so i did notice that when i plugged the power cable in that the little green light on the front of the laptop would blink for a quick second. So it is getting power some how. Anyone know if it is a mother board issue? Or could it be something different. I have seen posts on how to disassemble and it looks kind of simple. Wanting some advice from anyone. Please advise.

    Thanks
    Grant

No one has had any issues or a clue of what the problem may be?

Take the battery out for 30 seconds and power cord for 30 seconds then put everything back in and plug it back in and turn it on, choose start windows normally...

But ya I have the same problem trying to make it not shut off :/
