OK so i just bought a second hand A10 from someone (no discs came with it or anything) and the OS was corrupt so i put a copy of XP Pro on it. Now i know for a fact that there is wifi on this laptop because there is a switch that says "wifi on/off" but XP hasnt found it?

Is there a utility disc i need or somthing to install the wifi amounst other things? (sound ect)

    please help

You will have to install the drivers necessary for Windows to recognise the device. Toshiba should have the necessary drivers available for download on their support site...

Also, just because there is a wifi on/off button doesnt necessarily mean that it has wifi. Most manufacturers just use the same chassis for different models and removing it just for one would not be cost effect, so they just leave it in there even if it actually doesnt have the device.
