This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi guys...new here...ummm Im gonna be starting network engineering courses this march and I was wondering if a Toshiba Satellite Pro M70 would suffice for this purpose....

    Yes - filling out the Notebook FAQ in the "Hardware" section would really help. The M70 would be a great choice if it has the X700 GPU - however, it also depends upon which programs you'll be working with.

    FAQ??? well, im planning to run XP Pro and maybe piggyback a Linux OS most likely red hat...

    In the hardware forum instead of the Toshiba forum, they have a FAQ with choices to pick from in certain areas.
