Walmart has a sale on the above notebook. When I stopped in there today, the salesperson said they only have one left. He, however, couldn't find it on the shelf but said that they do have one in the back. He knew very little about it, and because I just wanted to think about it, I just got the model number from him...

All I really know is that it is called a toshiba satellite QL60. When I was in the store this afternoon, there were 2 staff on ..... One insisted that the laptop did not have a WiFi card, and the other thought it probably did. I don't even know what a WiFi card is.

Having never owned/used a laptop before, I must admit I know very very little about them. I do know I don't want to pay a whole lot for one though.

Does anyone have any experience with the QL60? The sale ends tomorrow so I'm hoping for any input you may have...

Thanks. (btw, the price is $550)

Maybe this is a Satellite L305D-S5874 with the AMD QL-60 CPU here. If it is that model then it has WiFi. See here for more specs.

Would you happen to be in Canada by chance? I've been hearing ads on the radio for a computer that matches that. (And it comes with a case, Snap!)
Also, I rarely trust what the salepeople have to say about the models. They have so many things to remember that I can't really blame them for forgetting a few details, but they ought to know that 99.5% of laptops come with built-in wireless.
