I know this is not a popular notebook among enthusiasts but I figured, maybe some of us picked this up and want to talk about it.

Well I got mine today and I must say I am very impressed. This notebook has a few features that I have yet to find on other notebooks. Here are the things that I really like the most.

The screen - Beautiful. 4k is fantastic for web content. Chrome youtube at 4k is fine... don't believe the videos that say the i7-6500u can't handle it... it can and it does it well.

Infrared windows hello camera. I mean if fingerprints are all the rage, why not a camera that you don't have to even have to move your hands.

Build - Sure its mainly plastic with aluminum panels on it... but its still sturdy and feels more premium than other reviews online have noted. Sure, its not as sturdy feeling as a dell XPS 13 or macbook, but its pretty firm.

    Other goods:
    - Keyboard and trackpad are good. Microsoft precision trackpad so it only gets better. Yes the kb is oddly shaped, but I find it easy to type on.
    - Very fast wifi... fastest in my house... even better than my killer wifi on my alienware.
    - Very fast SSD
    - i7u beats core M that is all the rage right now.
    - Usb-c (Tb2) - mixed bag as tb3 would have been so much better!

    Bads:
    - The fans seem to come on more often than other laptops I have used recently
    - charger is pretty standard... no tiny wallwart, this is a tiny brick.
    - Battery life is not as bad as other websites make it out to be. It is bad at 6 hours... not 4 like most say. Maybe windows updates have helped fix this...
    - BLOATWARE CITY - Easy to get rid of, but still annoying.

Well with that said, does anyone else here have this laptop? What are you thinking so far? Likes/Dislikes... Support group if you have issues, fire away.
