I just bought a Satellite Radius P50W-C, fatory refurbished by Toshiba, which arrived sealed with a Toshiba branded 2 prong 45w AC adapter.

Awesome laptop with beautiful IPS screen, very pleased with it especially after installing 16GB and a Samsung 1TB 840 EVO SSD. Nice and quiet now.

However, in common with Dell laptops of old, and a Samsung Chronos laptop I had a couple of years ago, when plugged in to the mains, rubbing a finger across the lid or palmrest I feel a tingle as my palm or finger slides across. It doesn't happen when running on battery.

I can't find any references to other people experiencing this with a Toshiba notebook before so I'm wondering if I have been supplied with the wrong PSU (perhaps it's the one they supply with plastic body machines) or if it's that my machine itself somehow isn't internally shielded.

I will see if I can find a compatible earthed adapter to see if it cures the problem (which worked in the past for the Samsung) but interested to hear anyone else's experiences.

I am having the same issue. I even flopped the plug the other way in the outlet and same thing... Kind of annoying and may actually cause me to return the laptop. Let me know if you have found a way to fix the issue. Thanks!

I have ordered a compatible 3 pin AC adapter off the Bay so I'll report back when I receive it!
