Hi, I got a new Toshiba Satellite laptop for Christmas and it was working perfectly (other than the occasional power down) but about a week and a half a go the sound just stopped working. I called toshiba and they told me to install a sound driver software download. I did this and I think that the sound card itself is maybe messed up but can someone point me to where I can try to download this software again? Thanks

Look in the device manager under sound, video and game controllers, and find your audio device. Right click it, and try updating the driver software (you must be connected to the Internet).
