    Toshiba Satellite With Santa Rosa Hardware?

    Isn't it about time for Toshiba to include the latest Santa Rosa hardware in the notebooks that they sell in the common retail stores?

    and they don't? I'm not sure about you, but the last time I checked the u300/u305 series (which has the Santa Rosa platform in most models) is widely available here in Canada & *especially in the US..not barring the other models of which I have no interest in of course ;)

    It also depends on which store you're going to. Stores usually like to try to clear out their old inventory before ordering in new tech, so if their old laptops aren't selling...

    I've recently seen the U300/x205s in Best Buy, so I know they're filtering it. All depends on that particular store's inventory.
