hmm.. maybe dell is lying about the 8700M GT and giving both options.

... when is the X200 supposed to be released in the USA? Does it say anything about different color options?

nah its the same/ i'm from US too... just diffrent configuration 8800 sli to saccrifice the 2 hdd and put their one new 300 gb hdd not more than 2 months
    dell xps configuration i think:
    1. 8700 m gt
    2. 8800 m
    3. 8800 m sli
and also i think that their will be only one 8800 version cause why would they have a 8700 m gt in 1 version and 8800 in 3 versions and if they had watt problems

    Arhh I just bot the 2.0GHz x205.
What is the features of the 300GB Hard drive vs the dual ones?
I would like a higher C2D but dual 8800 SLI just one month after x205 release, that's fast!
Toshiba should has provided these info as an upcoming option if its going to be just 1 month :((

So, where do you have saw that info?

The Portuguese version of the X205 already have the 300GB drive from Fujitsu and an T7700(2.4Ghz).

SLI graphics will cost 500$ more than the actual price of a single config card... So if that configuration came out, it will cost arround 3000$ if not more.

Why should you think that every one that bought an X205 want/need SLI, that rises the price a lot more...

The 300GB drive is from Fujitsu, and is the first 2nd generation perpendicular magnetic recording drive in the world. It runs at 4200rpm, and have a 1.5ms seek time. 4200rpm are a downside in terms of performance, but the higher data density will equalize the speeds.

    The Portuguese version o the X205, costs around 2900$ (2100€ ;).

Where are you guys seeing a 2008 release? Didn't see it in the article. All I saw was the release for the 3D Goggles -

If Dell's going to have an 8800M notebook available supposedly end of September/October, I don't see why Toshiba would have to wait til 2008. The review shows they already have working reviewable demos.
