Toshiba Satellite X205-S9349 Upgrade

Hi Guys

I am new in this site but I have been reading a lot about the Toshiba X205.

I finally ordered this laptop and already planning to upgrade the CPU
is it possible to get a T7800 or X7800 in that motherboard ?

Also i can't really find anything about the Video Card is MXM III / IV or just have to stuck with the 8700GT ?

I am sure it is a great laptop if my old Gateway can run Need For Speed Pro Street and Crysis (of course in low resolution ) then this one should fly ........

The video card is not xmx, but it is upgradeable (I have confirmed this already, I have a 9349 and sli1 and intrchanged the motherboards and video cards between the 2 laptops already) but it's a Toshiba proprietary interface, the cpu I am not sure I think someone tried the X7800 and smoked the motherboard, so I would be careful in trying that without getting some confirmation that it will work first.

No i got it to work I got a few bugs to work check out my thread.

X7800 rocks but the system has trouble maintaining full speed i am working on a way to overclock it or atleast lock the speed in.

 

You know I have seen the same garbage (same exact text on all of them) from this guy on other threads on this forum, I hate people like this!!!!!!!!!

We were not refering to you at all, so don't worry you are ok. Chaz deleted the person and his posts, the guy we were talking about is clearly a spammer that is why he is no longer here, I hope Chaz banned him from the forum, we do not need people like him around here.

 

Nah, he's right... i wasn't reffering to you at all! Some guy was linking to a dead ebay auction that was totally pointless and he was doing it everywhere... sorry for the confusion
