    Hi guys,

I have a Satellite a65-s126 which is little bit old, but still working fine. I've upgraded its RAM by adding 1 GB extra. Now I'm trying to upgrade the processor as well. I'm having a Celeron 2,8 Ghz and want to replace it with Mobile IntelĀ® PentiumĀ® 4 processor 532 (3.06 GHz, 1 MB L2 cache, 533 MHz FSB).

    As far as I see here on page 55: http://askiris.toshiba.com/ToshibaS...iceId=&dialogID=55522938&stateId=0 0 53111995

which is showing the resource guide for A60/A65 series, this processor is supported by the motherboard. I bought the 3,6 Ghz P4 but when I replace the old one with this and push the Power button, it starts for couple of seconds and then shut downs by itself, without switching the monitor at all.

    I read here: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/...dmlldicgfkceghdgngdgnj.0&ct=DL&all_docs=false

that the support for P4 processors is added in 1.70 BIOS version. That's fine, but I'm using the 1.90 BIOS and it seems that it doesn't help.

So, my question is: Am I doing something wrong or missing something? I was looking for a jumper on the motherboard that has to be changed to another position, but couldn't find any. I was looking in the BIOS as well, but it was not helpful too. I searched the whole Google :) but couldn't find anything helpful.
I will appreciate any help on this one. Do someone has an idea?

    Thanks in advance!
    Cheers,
    Kiril Krantev
