    Toshiba Satellite won't shut down.

    I cannot shut down my Toshiba Satellite A215-57437 laptop. Each time I click SHUT DOWN, it restarts, so that I always have to remove the battery pack before the power will turn off. What is wrong? I need help, please.

    Are you clicking the button just left the lock button in Vista?
    If you are doing that click the arrow on the other side of the lock button and click shut down
