    I have a Toshiba Satellite A305-S6872 (Model: PSAG8U-02E018)

    I also have a 2 year old.

I know this laptop is out of warranty, I bought it at least 3 years ago...

I will have to replace the LCD myself, I'm just curious if anyone has done a walk-through on this before.

I also can't seem to find a good place to buy the replacement LCD panel.

Thank you very much for the reply!

So you did the work yourself? How would you rate the difficulty on a scale of say 1 to 10?

I would rate it about a 4 out of 10. I did the work myself, and it took about 15 minutes. I tend to go slow, I labled everything. I must admit, I had taken apart this particular lappy (my A205)before when it was soley mine, in order to upgrade the GPU. I would say, watch the video as many times as you need to to feel comfortable.
