    Toshiba Shipping Delays and Problems

    We ordered a Satellite M40 from ToshibaDirect last Sept. 23.
    Toshiba said they would ship Oct 6 or 7 to arrive Oct 12.

    We called earlier this week and they said that shipping is delayed until Oct 21. The person the Laptop is a gift for will be leaving the shipping destination on Oct. 24.

    Now Toshiba won't let us change or cancel our order. They said the only way we could change or cancel is to refuse shipping. BUT HOW LONG IS THAT GONNA TAKE?!?

    Is that right?

    Also, If you look in Toshibadirect. They just refreshed the specs of the M40.

    THey're offering new specs for the same price. I really feel cheated.

    We can refuse it. But how long will that take?

    If we refuse i think this will happen....If the lappy arrives Oct. 27. Gets back to Toshiba Nov. 3. Get our refund Nov. 7. Order again and expect the new order to ship on Nov 23. And arrives Nov. 30.

    The next window of opportunity to get the laptop is Nov. 30 - Dec. 7. It will be another close call considering Toshiba doesn't delay the shipment again.
