    Hello,

I'm having a problem running the Toshiba Software Upgrades. I was able to run it initially but now every time I try to run it I get the following message:

The TOSHIBA Software Upgrades application may not start because the current user has limited rights to system resources.

I don't understand why I'm getting this error as I'm the administrator on my system. I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

I did the same thing and the same outcome occured. If you haven't solved it yet, here is what you do.

    - Go to the Start Menu
    - Go to the All Programs list
    - Go down to TOSHIBA
    - Right click on the Software Upgrades icon
    - Click on Properties
    - Under the Compatability tab, click the box that says "Run the program in Compatability Mode for"
    - Make sure that it is set to "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)."
    - Everything will work from here on... or should.

    - You will get all neccessary upgrades for your system specifically for Windows Vista. Don't worry about the whole compatability to Windows XP thing.
