New Member here. Been looking around and noticed some Manufacturer Sections on here have subforums for specific models.
Thought maybe start a Satellite and Qosmio Subforums, and others if you'd like.
Just my 2 cents....

The issue with doing that with anyone but Alienware, Dell, and HP are that there are just not enough demand for them. Plus there's so much differentiation between similar models under the same name with Toshiba and others, that it just would just make things more difficult to find.
But if you have a model that you think would benefit from an informational or group discussion thread, by all means open one up! I'm sure it would benefit a lot of people, as this forum gets a LOT of traffic even if not all of them are posters, just people just looking for a fix for a certain problem.Welcome to the forums BTW!

Thanks for the warm welcome
I just thought subforums would make it easier to find model specific questions/tips/answers.
I'm also thinking of starting a thread similar to one I saw for the ASUS G73. It has the links and solutions for all reported problems of the G73.
BUT first I still need to receive my Qosmio, still being shipped via Costco. -

The thing is Toshiba is silently dying out. And there is simly not enough users.. The HP, DELL, Alianware users is huge! Hope this gives you a picture of the situation.
Which Qosmio did you buy btw? -
I hope Toshiba is not dying out! The great race to the bottom
I bought the Qosmio Q894 from Costco.com It's a bit more pricey than most online sites, but I get a 90 day return to any local Costco warehouse and Costco pays for a 2nd yr warranty through Toshiba (not a 3rd party rep) for free.
Only thing I was really disappointed with is that all the major retailer carry the Qosmio (Best Buy, Walmart, Costco, etc...) but it's only available online and not in store. -
Toshiba laptop can never bee the hardcore gamers choose anymore... Toshiba has own f.example GPU socket which makes it even harder to upgrade it... I must take my whole laptop apart to acsess the CPU... The BIOS is locked out, that means no overclock on CPU, and limited GPU overclock... Lack of driver support, atleast for the X3xx's. No support, atleast nothing in Norway. I've even called the Turkish support line, the noted my problem and said they vere going to call me back... Actually it never happend...
However, if you have 90 day return, you can try it out and return if you don't like it..
