Hi, I'm buying my first notebook pc in a few weeks. I decided on the Toshiba Tecra A6-EZ6311, model with widescreen and Core Duo, 14.1" screen. Does anyone here own this model or one that's similar to it? It looks like a good match for me.

I got to take a look at some Toshiba models today at Staples, they looked nice, seemed like there was a lot of reflection on the screens, but maybe it was because they weren't connected to the web. Also, I'm not sure if they had TruBrite or not, which the one I'm getting does have.

Finally, I read somewhere that Toshiba notebooks can be fitted with different color lids. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks, Greg

Never mind, it's ok. After hearing all the Toshiba horror stories (regarding tech/warranty support), I decided to go back to my original first choice - a Lenovo Thinkpad. greg
