I finally received my Tosh so willshare a few things in case someone is thinking of buying this computer.

    1. First, I have a hefty respect for the people who prep notebooks for customers. Not that I didn't before but now more so. Disliking the junk placed on the original 320 HD, I opted to install a 7200RPM 500GB HD. BUT the system disks wouldn't work with it. So I clean installed a full version of Windows 7 x64. Then I had to download and install one by one the drivers and other important Tosh stuff for the machine. BOY! What a job! Therein lies my HEFTY respect mentioned earlier.

    2. Windows 7 impresses me so far. I tend to ignore new Windows OS for 3 years until most bigs are out and it is sort of proven. But this machine with its i7 2.66 CPU, I decided it best to go with the recommended OS. Nearly all of my old software works fine with Windows 7. I think (sorry can't recall which) that I don't really use that much didn't run on it. I do recall it was OLD stuff from Windows 2000 days.

    3. OK, the Tosh seems a good marriage for Win 7. I'd have liked a 4 full USB 2 ports, DVI, and a firewire but. . . . everything works as advertised. No hassles despite the roundabout preppping I did.

    3. I wanted to share the SkinIt cover I placed on the notebook but can't seem to upload the .png files.
