    Hi,

I noticed the new COOL :D Toshiba TECRA S3

I was allways looking for a good brand notebook with 15 inch display and powerfull graphics

Sadly all powerfull graphics were intruduced only with 17 inch models which I hate.

I know SAGER,Eurocom,VODDO and DELL offer cool Graphics on 15 inch notebooks, but I wanted some tough good brand business notebooks like the IBM, Toshiba, Sony.
the IBM Tclass offered only x300, and 9600 , the Z only X600
the Toshiba and sony some 6200,6400 go so far

all these only offered X600 so far in 15 inch business strong notebooks,

X700 is rare on businrss and protected notebooks, I saw ACER and asus with it but they are noway tough books...

untill I saw the new Toshiba Tecra S3

    man it is awsome,

it has the good design of Toshiba Tecra
    the keyboard and harddisk proection
    the LC shock protection
and the IBM T43 finger print security (at last)
    and an SXGA+ 15 inch
    SATA drives upto 100G

    and guess what?

    Nvidia 6600 G0 with 128 Vram

now thats my future notebook :D

I tried hard to find any reviews for this one.. any help really appriciated.

    Thanx in advance

I'm waiting for a review too, i have to make a decision soon between the Tecra S3 or the Fujitsu E8020D. These two notebooks have almost the same specs and ports and they both are heavy duty business notebooks. Price is the same also.
I don't think the're on display anywhere in the US, and i won't order either without any reviews or comparisons.
    Anyone?

sorry but the Fujetsu has Only X600 ATI card

while the Toshiba tecra has the more powerfull Nvidia 6600GO VGA

u know the diffrences do u?

the 6600go is double speed of the X600

it is faster than X700pro VGA

with smartshader 3 support too which X600 lacks

add to it the 6600GO is 8 pixiles pipelines while x600 is only four

the x700 is true 8 pipelines
