Oh no... the FPS are very low, I hoped it could get about 20-25 average FPS on high detail at 1440 x 900...

Well these are the LaptopVideo2Go drivers, which perform very bad @ DirectX 9, but fairly good @ DX 10.

With Vista and the stock Toshiba drivers i think we'll get a much better performance. I wish Toshiba could release some XP drivers...
I think i'm going to install Vista today, to make some more benchmarks..

Then hopefully, with 4GB of RAM and Vista, it will run better...

World in Conflict runs PERFECTLY fine at 15 FPS. 12 is playable, also, the benchmark is little lower than what you really get

I played all the beta at 10FPS. My desktop 8600GT was giving me 10FPS at medium, high and very high (lol) because of my Sempron 3100+

    Hi all,

New to the forum but I have just downgraded my x200 toshiba laptop to xp and have been able to install everything but the graphics driver. This gives me two exclamation marks in device manager. One video controller and the other PCI memory controller which I prosume is related to the video card.

The toshiba website does not provide a video driver and everytime I install an NVidia driver or a laptop2go driver, the nvidia install doesn't recognise my hard ware. Getting very annoyed now at this stage so was wondering if anyone could help or point me to a driver which will install.

    Thanks

    Gaucho

That's my problem as well... but in a bit different way.

I didn't downgrade my X200, I just tried to install those laptopvideo2go drivers. It does recognize my hardware, but then something really strange happens... As I try to change the resolution, for games or even the desktop, I get a "window" effect instead of the pixel of the particular resolution spreading through the screen...

For example: If I select a 1440 x 900 resolution, the output of the card to the screen will appear like a window surounded by the natural black LCD color... Instead of spreading throughout he screen the resolution stays windowed using only the pixels of the resolution, and not the whole screen's...

    Strange...

It's comforting to hear about the performance...it's a WiC problem that the Massive dev team has admitted that it has poor performance....hopefully this will be fixed via the next update. *hopes! I'm getting around the same framerate on the Bestbuy x205
